We first met with Aki Yamasaki we were at the point of despair having spent 5 years trying to get my daughter’s fiancé, a Turkish citizen, into New Zealand. His case was complicated by a prior visa denial and suspicions that he had overstayed. It was further compromised by the high unemployment rate and a complex employment environment in Turkey leading to a fractured and variable work history. We had been using a Christchurch immigration lawyer with little real progress being made. "More serious about getting a visa than a client!" I was at a loss about getting a visa when I saw Aki's tagline. I contacted Aki from NZ VISA PARTNER with little hope at first (sorry).  
There is a reason why I said "little hope".
I have a history of visa cancellation in Australia due to my previous lawyer's advice and even my tourist visa applications were rejected. Other educational agents that I consulted before talking to Aki, refused to listen to me further as soon as I mentioned the visa cancellation. When I talked to Aki for the first time, I quickly thought "I want to ask him to represent my student visa application!!"

I got my Permanent Resident Visa in a short period of time - only one month. It is a dream-like story for me, but Aki from NZ VISA PARTNER made it happen, and I can't thank him enough.

My first encounter with Aki was through his columns. The beginning was like a drama.It was Friday when we consulted with him directly. The deadline for us to apply for our best type of visa was midnight on Sunday. We had a short period of cohabitation and my NZ partner is 13 years older than me.
